Dr. Aicee Bernal, officially licensed as Ma. Concepcion M. Bernal MD is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in the Philippines with extensive expertise in advanced facial rejuvenation, eyelid surgery, and reconstructive plastic surgery. She is recognized for combining meticulous surgical precision with an artistic understanding of facial harmony to deliver natural-looking, refined, and long-lasting results.

Dr. Aicee Bernal earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Philippines Manila before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in 2006. She then completed six years of intensive residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Philippine General Hospital, the country's premier government referral and teaching hospital.  Committed to continually refining her surgical techniques, Dr. Bernal pursued observership program in JW Plastic Surgery Clinic in South Korea, where she gained specialized experience in Korean facial aesthetic surgery, particularly upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation.  She integrates these advanced techniques with individualized surgical planning to achieve youthful, elegant, and naturally refreshed results while preserving each patient's unique facial identity.

Today, Dr. Bernal has developed a particular interest in Deep Plane Facelift surgery, one of the most advanced techniques for facial rejuvenation. Unlike traditional facelift methods that primarily tighten the skin, the Deep Plane Facelift repositions the deeper facial tissues responsible for aging, producing more natural movement, longer-lasting rejuvenation, and avoiding the overly tight or "pulled" appearance. Her comprehensive facial rejuvenation approach frequently combines facelift surgery with upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, brow lifting, and fat grafting to restore youthful facial balance.

Dr. Bernal is also highly regarded for her expertise in eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). Whether treating drooping upper eyelids, puffy under-eye bags, or age-related eyelid changes, she carefully tailors each procedure to enhance the eyes while preserving natural expression. Beyond aesthetic surgery, Dr. Bernal remains deeply committed to reconstructive plastic surgery. She currently serves as the Head of the Section of Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Philippine Children's Medical Center, where she performs complex reconstructive procedures for children with congenital anomalies, traumatic injuries, burns, and other conditions requiring specialized reconstructive care. Her reconstructive background provides an exceptional understanding of anatomy, tissue handling, and surgical precision that also benefits her cosmetic patients.

Dr. Bernal is a Fellow of the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS) and the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS).
